all this heat..

… is making my patience shorter!! graaah!! it’s easy to get irritated when you’re sweaty and icky and stuff. haaaay, i SO CANT WAIT TO GET TO THE BEACH!!!!

manlulumo ako kapag hindi natuloy ang PUERTO GALERA with the kabirds on April 28-29. Ika nga ni tin, “pag hindi kayo sumipot, gagawa ako ng emergency!!!”

 hehehehe.

c’mon, we all NEED the vacay.  work with me. :)

PANAGBENGA!! 2 Ü

so yun… after lunch we bought stuff we forgot to bring along sa SaveMore, like mineral water, soap and others.

then we went to baguio cathedral, famed for their hundred (or so) steps. we climbed all the way up (shempre) then took pictures.Ü know what, if you’re in Baguio there’s only two ways to go – uphill or downhill. kamusta nman yun. wlang flat roads. harhar. and you get around walking. walk kung walk. pag hinid na kaya ang powers, pede naman mag jeep. or taxi. masaya mag taxi, 25.oo bucks lang flagdown!!Ü panalo!!Ü

moving along… after namen mag cathedral, umuwi na. hehe. hindi na kase kaya ng powers ko, galing pa ko shift and all. paguwi namen sa haus, nanood lang konting tv tapos nakatulog na ko, walang dinner dinner. hehe.

the next morning we woke up early, had breakfast then went to see the Panagbenga Flower Festival floats. ang galing, i’ve never seen so much flowers. nakulayan lang ng konting pulitika kasi may float din sila cesar montano, migs zubiri (almost the entire administration senatoriables, really) and there was a helicopter hovering over us with a big “Pichay Sa Senado” tarpaulin. manatakin mo yun. we didn’t finish the entire parade kasi i wanted coffee. for that, nag starbucks kame. first ever coffee namen ni baby ko, at kailangang sa Baguio pa talaga. haha. then we bought lunch, take out lang tapos kinain namen sa house. after lunch we went to burnham park, mines view park, botanical garden wright park, the mansion, good shepherd convent and last but not the least, UKAY!! yey!! hehehe. i was able to buy shoes. black pumps worth 200 bucks!! panalo mag ukay sa baguio!! hehehe. siguro if there was more… uhm.. resources i would have bought an entire wardrobe. hehehehe. nakabalik kami sa house dinnertime na. kumain kame sa carinderia malapit dun sa house. after dinner, umidlip ako… tas gumimik kame sa Nevada Square. Ang gimikan sa Baguio kung saan hindi uso manghingi ng basong may yelo.  hahahaha. parang natataranta sila pag bigla ka naghanap. may group of girls dun nung gumimik kame, ang outfit parang wala sa Baguio. pekpek shorts and tank tops and all. with matching makeup, of course. ako ngang nka tshirt at jeans at jacket nilalamig na, sila wala lang. tsaka… ang beer nila red. share ko lang. hmmm. :) yun, nagkarambulan pa nga kase yung isang gurl nanghataw ng guy gamit ang monobloc chair. panalo talaga. all for the turistas. :)

the next day we had one more stop. the strawberry fields. ang astig din dun. you’ll actually see where the strawberries come from and see flowers planted. the fields were our last stop. then we had to go back home to prepare for the bus trip to manila.

 haaaay…

it was short. and sweet. and very memorable. and the memories are priceless.

will upload pics at friendster soon. hehe. ;)

PANAGBENGA!!!

spent the weekend in the Summer Capital of the Philippines, Baguio City!!

we went there to experience panagbenga, a.k.a. flower festival. :) ang saya. i went undertime nung friday shift, then we met up at my office. our bus trip was at 6am, and 5:55am we arrived at victory liner bus terminal at cubao. the bus trip was half a day long, but i didn’t mind. the view was fantastic along the way. we got to baguio around 1pm, with no place to stay. akalain mo yun. :) buti na lang there are people there (i dont know, tour guides would suit them best i guess) that would go around the city with you to find a place to stay for only 5o bucks. luckily we didnt have to search long, we found a place after around 20 minutes of searching ala mary and joseph (minus the bun in the oven, of course.) it was called king’s court, and the rate was 1,500 pesos per day. ang mahal, panagbenga kasi. regular rate would have been 800 ata. imagine.

anyway. so yun. when we got to the room, we rested a little, tas nagpunta na kami kagad ng victory liner bus terminal para bumili ng ticket pauwi (just to make sure na hindi namen magagastos yung pera pambili for other niceties) then went to SM Baguio to have lunch at KFC. hahahaha, nasa baguio na’t lahat, SM at KFC pa din! :)

***im gonna stop right here kasi uuwi na ko. this is an after shift activity that im doing and its taking its toll on my eyelids. hehe. ndi ko na keri, baka mag commute ako nakapikit. :) ***

nuninuninuninu…

another day of training is done. little by little it’s finally sinking in… i am going to do sales. or rather, help agents make the sale. akalain mo yun. i still have sooo much to learn though. i actually like it… a new challenge… something entirely different out of the usual tech support stuff. and its gonna take another learning curve for god knows how long. yeeh.

on an entirely different note, it’s amazing how relationships start. and im not just talking about the usual romantic, boyfriend-girlfriend, head-over-heels type. this also goes for strangers becoming friends. ang galing diba? aaand it almost always starts with a smile. or a… uhm… lifting of the eyebrows!Ü i just thought of this while taking a bath before work. apparently that’s the only time i have to think of such things. haha. wala lang. naisip ko lang kasi, more than half of the reason why i cant leave my present job is because of the friends i’ve made here. sure, the compensation is great and the benefits and all that, but i daresay i’ve also made relationships to last a lifetime. with my bosses, my teammates, my colleagues. it’s like a family outside of my own. :) and im happy about it.

***********************************************************************************************************

granted that you’re already happily involved with someone… do you ever come to a point that you ask yourself

“what if?” or “sayang, pahulihin ka naman eh”

does it make you a bad girlfriend/boyfriend if you think of something like that? does that count as cheating already? or does it only become cheating when you act on it? if that’s the case, does that mean you are allowed to fantasize about that person and think of as many “what if” questions as you want granted that you dont do anything about it?

or am i just overthinking again?

see food!!

wow. one weekend has passed and i got 5 comments from my girlfriends. hehe. :) good to know we’ll always be in touch. warm fuzzy feeling. hehehehe.

anyway, what a weekend it was.

saturday =  seafood day. i met up with ryan at his office and then went to dampa with his team where we had seafood kung seafood lunch. wahehehe. nagpaluto ng buttered sugpo, stuffed squid, steamed mayamaya, baked tahong and calamares. shempre, madaming kanin!! meron din pork sinigang para may sabaw tsaka stir fried kangkong para may gulay. TALAP TALAP!!! :) as if it was all wasnt enough, we then moved on to oyster boy para, well, mag oyster. hehe. madaming madami!!! si tl stuart kasi, parang wala nang bukas!! hahaha!! panalo talaga!! may fresh oyster where you can squeeze calamansi on top at meron din baked oyster na may cheese. woohoo!! i prefer the baked one, pero either goes well with beer!Ü i got home 9pm ata. wahehe, take note, galing ako sa previous night’s shift, so i was awake 24+ hours. i lost count hehe.

sunday was our one and a half year anniversary :) we were together the whole day, at nag foodtrip na naman!! kaya ndi ako pumayat payat eh!! hehehe. we had crispy pata for lunch. tas nag banana split AND waffle bowl sa DQ nung late afternoon. talk about sugar rush! :)

life’s good. :)
